Owners of commercial (non domestic) premises who wish to sell or let their property
must provide the purchaser or in-coming tenant with an Energy Performance Certificate.
As with Domestic EPC's,
non Domestic Certificates are valid for 10 years from the date of issue but can be updated if an owner or tenant completes
work which may improve the overall energy efficiency.
Working in conjunction with Estate Energy Solutions, I am accredited to prepare Energy
Performance Certificates on a wide range of commercial properties including shops, retail outlets, offices, industrial units,
warehouses, public houses and restaurants.
Due to the wide and varied nature of Commercial property, each assessment is priced on an
individual basis depending on the size and complexity of the building and the level of information a client is able to provide.
For example, where up to date scale plans or full details of the heating and ventilation systems are
available, this will reduce the time on site and a lower fee can be charged.
